Our mission
To help Kenyans settle confidently, build meaningful connections, access practical guidance and grow into stable, contributing community leaders in Canada.
Our story
Jumuika exists because moving countries should not mean starting alone. We bring practical settlement help, mentorship, opportunity and belonging into one community-led home for Kenyans preparing for Canada and those already building a life here.
Every Kenyan arrival carries ambition, questions and responsibilities. Too often, the right answer lives in a scattered chat, a private contact or the memory of someone who already walked the path. Jumuika turns that informal support into a dependable community system.
We connect newcomers with people who understand the cultural and practical realities of settling in Canada. We also create room for established members to mentor, build businesses, share skills, support families and become leaders for the people arriving next.
Tuko pamoja.
We move together—from preparation and arrival to stability, growth and leadership.
To help Kenyans settle confidently, build meaningful connections, access practical guidance and grow into stable, contributing community leaders in Canada.
A connected Kenyan community across Canada where no newcomer is isolated and every member can find a pathway to belonging, opportunity and impact.
People move further when knowledge is shared. We lead with dignity, mutual responsibility, practical action and the belief that today’s newcomer can become tomorrow’s mentor.
